- The silver commemorative coins issued by the China Gold Coin to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the issuance of Renminbi (RMB) is now available.The first series of RMB banknotes were issued on December 1, 1948, by People’s Bank of China (PBOC) and came in banknotes of 12 denominations: 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 5000, 10,000 and 50,000 yuan.
The 15 gram round silver commemorative coins design features the decorative combination design of the Renminbi’s symbol, Latitude, and Longitude, An electronic chip and Binary coding which signify globalization and digitizing. Also, the word of the”70th anniversary of the issuance of Renminbi” and the denomination was shown.
Mintage is just only 60,000 pcs!
