The 2022 design is the fourth design in a series within a series that from 2019-2028 will show the lifecycle of growing pandas! The image used this year features two giant pandas playing in the snow. The series regularly highlights playing pandas. The designer is famed Chinese numismatic designer, Huang Qin .

Obverse: The obverse image on the coin remains the Temple for Good Harvests, a Taoist religious site located in the Forbidden City.
